This Website
This is the personal website of Tom Boesche, tbsch.net. I am an economist by training. This site has more than one purpose:
On the one hand, I like to learn about computing in my free time. This website is my attempt at learning about apache, HTML, PHP, JS, and many other web-related concepts.YES, this website is self-hosted!
On the other hand like most personal websites , these pages are meant to showcase some of its author's work. Clearly, in this case, the quality of the work does not warrant any special attention. Indeed, sharing is not the primary purpose of this website. However, it still enables the easy sharing of content via an entirely public interface.
My approach to this website as a hobby as three important implications.

This website may change a lot over time! If everything goes well, I will continue to experiment and add additional features in the future. However, the website may also cease to exist if I lose interest in this hobby. If you find this website online in a relatively barebone state,That said, the design of the website will remain deliberately minimal. deem yourself lucky: We are in the most likely of worlds, that is, I have made little progress but the project has not yet been abandoned. Either way, if you have found yourself on this page, know that things may not be the same when you return.

You will find many flaws. My sincere apologies! In the interest of learning, I am trying to implement as many feastures by myself without resorting to canned solutions. This is greatly benefical to me as the developer, but it may cause you, the user, a lot of nerves.

In the highly unlikely case that multiple people visit this website at the same time, you may experience slow service. While I have not implemented any computationally heavy applications on this website yet, the speed of this website depends on a mini PC Out of an abundance of caution, this website is hosted on its own hardware. on a domestic network, so even a small amount of traffic may overwhelm the service.
